    The first vintage lantern I ever owned was a BR49.

    It had a brown top hood attached, but I learned that it was actually a lantern with a hood similar to that of the X359.

    Since then, I've changed it to my preferred black hood and am still using it.
    (I've kept the brown hood.)

    I lit it in my study for the first time in a long time.

    I love the BR49 so I decided to try making a miniature of it.

    If you take good care of a lantern for a long time, it will give birth to babies.:lol:

    @Buggerlugs

    Thank you.:thumbup:

    Your BR49 is also very nice.
    Your BR49 reminded me of the time I wanted a plated BR49 but gave up.8]

    Tilly's lantern is elegant.

    @Sellig33

    Thank you.:thumbup:

    If this lit up it would be perfect, but please assume that it can't light up since it's still a baby.:lol:

    Thank you.
    Even now, the little BR49 is hanging on to the adult BR49.;)

    @Jean J

    Thank you.
    I made this to kill time.

    I also made a kerosene stove out of plastic rods and wire.
