    I found a nice 827 but missing the carburetor. Since parts for the little 827 is hard to find I was thinking to modifie a 350/ 500 carburetor to 827 dimensions. Looks like I will have to make it shorter to accommodate the 827 height. Does anybody has the size from bottom of tube to other end, where jet is screwed? Thank you.

    Hi @Alexandre Freddi

    Sorry, I am unable to help but perhaps others can?
    Do you have pictures to help with the date of your lantern?
    Often they have date scratches on the base plate underneath?

    regards
    pb

    Thank you for your reply and wish to help, PB. I'll look for the famous Petromax scratches and I return . I belive it is a version of the mid 50s with the domino rapid valve. Thanks again.

    Any 250cp "Petromax" clone should fit. AIDA 1250, Hipolito. Did you ask base camp, hytta.de, look on ebay?
    The 250cp vaporizer/generator can be hard to find. But enough lanterns where made so parts would be around also.
    If they where common in you region is the biggest question. Over here main selling was on the 500cp version.

    @Alexandre Freddi
    I am late, but here are dimensions of my 827 (made during WWII).
    I thought that the whole generator was missing so measured both parts...
    Total – 23,5 cm
    upper part – 12,7 cm
    lower part – 11 cm

    Good luck!
