    It's had a repaint in its previous life, the handle should be plain galvanised....

    well it’s still a bargain but a shame

    is the colour on the underneath of the base different or the same ?

    Hello Martin, it's actually a Vapalux 300 X, the E41 has a different hood.

    the rebuild stalled for 5 days, as I was in need of one part, that duly arrived.

    The part arrived and we set too getting it going.

    New seals, as a matter of course. New Vaporizer, new glass and a lot of buffing on the polishing wheel.

    Part arrived, then so did a call out.

    But I did get some WW2 vintage items from the customers site.

    Nice and early, but the lighting took time as there was a blackbird fighting a worm.
    plus the robin wanted food as well.

    It is alight and the flames are burning nicely.
    decent Meths is needed, not the purple fluid from B&Q.

    Fuel is leaking from the vaporizer, in the off position.

    A single bit of dirt was in the control tap. That removed and we tried again.
