the rebuild stalled for 5 days, as I was in need of one part, that duly arrived. Thanks Mike, good service as normal.
The part arrived and we set too getting it going. New seals, as a matter of course. New Vaporizer, new glass and a lot of buffing on the polishing wheel. Part arrived, then so did a call out. But I did get some WW2 vintage items from the customers site.
Nice and early, but the lighting took time as there was a blackbird fighting a worm. plus the robin wanted food as well. It is alight and the flames are burning nicely. decent Meths is needed, not the purple fluid from B&Q. Fuel is leaking from the vaporizer, in the off position. A single bit of dirt was in the control tap. That removed and we tried again. Getting there. I even got the pressure indicating nipple to work as well. Oh yes the dubbin tin had some left.
