Boxed AFC., 1022 lantern.

Here is the latest addition to my collection, it has never been lit, there are some rust spots on the tank though as it was sitting in a garage for several decades.
I shall leave it unlit for now.

 

Nice find, they actually aren't bad runners but being unlit I would leave it as is also.

edit : hmm, yours seems to have just the one airtube whereas others shown in the gallery can have 2? they must have evolved a bit?
that is the great thing about the gallery.. the ability to compare items for cross-reference
the vapouriser/generator looks a good size too

Apparently, it's the lanterns which have two air tubes which can operate on paraffin / kerosene and the link below shows relevant information.
