Hello. There is an air leakage in tank of my new Tilley through the pressure tit.
Is it possible to fix it?
    Thank you.

The only way which I know is to solder the pressure indicator closed.

    I agree with Jeff.
It's something I've never had to do but I recommend using an electric soldering iron because if you use a gas blowtorch there is a risk the pressure tit will fall into the tank.

Sometimes a small leak there can be fixed by dropping some penetrating oil down the pip, and the pressurising and releasing pressure a few times.

If the leak does not go away, solder as advised above.

Make sure it is leaking. Air is expelled as the indicator rises - and it can take time to settle.

Thank you very much. And yes, Ian, I'll test it again before I solder it.
