Hello. I foolishly emptied my wallet but I got Liliput. A Japanese lamp collector told me that this preheating dish is of an early model structure. The part that looks like a large lid was originally like this. The small solder repair marks are marks I made by myself. It burns with kerosene. When I took this photo, the arrow on the handle was mistakenly attached facing the wrong way. According to the Liliput catalog, I learned that the arrow should be pointing up when the needle is down, so I'd like to add that I later reassembled it. There isn't much information here, but I'll post it as an example of liliput. Thank you.
Pretty, cute and rare lamp - congratulations @Camp numao Is the tank bottom made of steel or brass? Number from the tank bottom "03 32" - is it a manufacturing date - March 1932 or something else? Can you post a picture of Liliput next to 100cp Ditmar? I wonder what is the size difference between these two. I guess that now you will have a problem to find even smaller lamp all the best, Piotrek
@Piotrek Hello! I ended up paying a lot of money, but I got it. >Is the tank bottom made of steel or brass? ->It's brass. Are there any iron tanks? >Number from the tank bottom "03 32" - is it a manufacturing date - March 1932 or something else? ->I have the same idea, but I may be wrong as I don't have the knowledge. >Can you post a picture of Liliput next to 100cp Ditmar? ->It sits side by side with the ditmar100CP. >I guess that now you will have a problem to find even smaller lamp. ->Unfortunately, I don't have anyone like you and the Liliput Master. So with my wallet now empty, I'll probably be browsing everyone's collections from now on. I have high hopes for you in particular.
Congratulations! What an extremely rare lantern and an absolutely perfect restoration. I have always believed that the Liliput series is not only the aesthetic peak of the Hasag brand, but also an unparalleled beauty in the entire world of vaporized lanterns.
@九师傅 Hello. Yes, of course there are other lovely and more valuable lanterns, but I agree with you. Thank you.
Thank you @Camp numao for all info. I asked about the tank bottom material just because that picture of your lamp gave me an impression that Liliput may have a steel bottom plate, but obviously it is brass. - well I do not have any Liliputs and my friends Liliputs are not cheap either, but every lamp has its price For example - recently there was some unique (not included in PLC) Polish hanging lamp for sell. NOS condition with spares etc. It was made for Polish military (field hospitals) before the WWII. A true museum treasure and a "lampie Mount Everest" for every Polish collector. 3000 EUR price = not for me . The lamp was gone after one or two days. So it can be much worse than chasing Liliputs
