This Petromax has a smooth carrying frame. According my observations, they were manufactured between late 1956 and mid-1958 . Perhaps scratched numbers are still visible on the bottom of the tank,which could help determine the exact age.
@Reinhard Thanks for that Reinhard. The only thing I can see scratched on the bottom is 11/6, which doesn't mean anything to me. Maybe you know something about that. Tom
