I received this pump with a bunch of other stuff. I guess that it is to suit some early lantern which need the external pump to pressurize the font? The brass body measures around 5 inches in length. No use to me but may be just the thing which someone needs to finish their collection.
Looks like a regular Coleman pump to me. Short pumps like this were originally meant for irons, so possibly a Coleman iron. Lamp pumps are longer, but of course this will work for a lamp anyway.
Looks like a Coleman Iron pump. Here is mine. Here is the Iron. Some other Coleman pumps. Hope this helps.
@Koala [I wrote this earlier, but failed to post it!]. It looks like a Coleman (or similar brand) pump commonly used on pressure irons. Tony
I don't think those with the longer wooden handles are Coleman pumps. Akron? AGM? I can't tell, but they don't look Coleman to me.
Fascinating! You need to post them in the Spares and accessories section. With pics on the Coleman markings.
As others have said that is a Coleman pump and that size was for the Coleman irons and the links below show a variety of pumps. 9 lamp pumps. Lamp pumps
