Hello fellow lampers, is there are source for the springs for the Vapalux / Bialaddin NRV., ?
Or perhaps there is some other type of spring which will fit?

Thanks for the information and I had two original springs, but they took off when I was working with them and have disappeared.

Yes that's true and I have had springs spang off before, but I was able to find them and perhaps that will happen when I clean and sweep out the shed and go through the sweepings with a large magnet.
Today, I had another hunt through my stock of spares and I found a long spring which was the correct diameter, so I snipped it in half and that sorted two NRV., then I had a hunt through my bag of Tilley springs and found a few more suitable springs and they sorted the rest, I still need to make new pips, but I have some sheet cork which should do the job.

Hello David, yes, spang is another Shetlandic word, roughly translated it means flew off, which springs often do, as do hub caps.
