My senior colleague and I took our lanterns and headed to the harbor.

We came across a grasshopper that was staring intently at the lantern without leaving its side.

I'm sure he must have been a lantern collector before he was reincarnated as a grasshopper.

Late autumn has arrived in Japan.

    Thank you for watching.

    Thank you.

My coworker and I went with each other and chatted about the lanterns, and the two hours flew by.

Nice feel of serenity in the pictures. Beautiful "Late Auturm Collection".
I think he seems to be drawn to the light from the Hasag.

    Thank you for your message.
This grasshopper has good taste; he likes HASAG lights.

Do you think he actually preferred that lantern or did you use different mantles with possibly different light wavelengths for both the Hasag and Optimus?

Its Mid-Auturm Festival today in my location.

The mantle attached to the Optimus at this time is definitely whiter.

In fact, grasshoppers have also been attracted to the Optimus 1200.
However, a lot of stink bugs have also been attracted, so I posted a photo of the grasshoppers for appearance reasons.;)

    Good to know.
Yes, the Optimus mantle appears whiter in the picture too.

Two very beautiful, perfectly lit lanterns :thumbup:

If it's as you write, then there's a very good chance you'll be born a grasshopper next time
