Coleman 247 (Canadian; undated)

    This is an undated Canadian 247 lantern.

    Features:

    Nickel fount.
    Light green vent (?seafoam); black inside; two slots for the bail.
    Model number on collar; no date.
    Collar with English, Spanish and French stampings.
    Fount with large Coleman logo stamp; no date.
    Bottom of fount painted grey; no model stamp.
    Preheater is a small cylindrical brass cup with a slit for an asbestos wick.
    Vent nut is dark nickel plated brass.
    Pump cap locked to pump tube with two round head screws.
    Screw on filler cap is round head (not hex or flat).
    Second style of burner.
    Fuel control wheel Bakelite with 12 ridges.
