    Hi fellas, I started up my Gloria 400, it kicked off well but after about 15 minutes the mantle was dimming and started to blacken, it was burning rich, I did play around with the Pricker fuel feed it was good then not and eventually I just shut it down, I’ll have to give it a good service, I haven’t had it going for a couple of years IMG_1900.jpeg IMG_1914.jpeg IMG_1915.jpeg IMG_1916.jpeg IMG_1917.jpeg IMG_1918.jpeg IMG_1919.jpeg IMG_1920.jpeg IMG_1922.jpeg IMG_1923.jpeg

    @Darryl Durdin
    Interesting lamp, one you can't find in Europe.
    I suspekt the brass gauze packing has clogged the vaporizer.
    Does it hold pressure ?
    Does the lamp have a jet cleaning function ?

    Darryl, it's frustrating when you reuse one that was working well a couple years back and then oh no.
    Part of the hobby.

    It takes a bit to service.
    Drain the fuel
    Disconnect the lines
    Remove the generator.
    The Pricker action is controlled by screw in /out Pricker rod. The generator needs to be dissembled and totally cleaned. The jet is set at a pre set position facing into the air tube and burner nozzle this is the air supply.
    I’ll have to be very careful not force or over tighten any parts. Parts are very rare and few between. I’ll be giving the whole inserts a clean as well, could have spiders webs,wasp nest or anything that might make a home in it. I do like my lantern I don’t get to fire it up as much as I would like.
