This ist my older PETROMAX 835. She has 400CP. It was once sold by A.Klaebisch in Spain. Some details are different than my younger PETROMAX 835. These PETROMAX 835 are very good-natured and run for many hours without you having to do anything. It is possible to narrow down the age of these PETROMAX 835 marketed by Klaebisch ? Regards Reinhard
Hi Reinhard, I've been told Klaebisch started importing Pmax lanterns somewhere during the 1920s and later on (1930s) made his "own" lanterns. Basically, he made the founts (brass?) and other sheet metal parts himself and used burner parts etc. supplied by Petromax. So, Petromax from mid to late '20s till early '30s followed by Klaebisch's own make. The person who told me this had no solid info on the dates. Maybe someone else knows more? Best regards, Wim @Reinhard
Do you have clear photos of this pump valve part and the pump leather? Can you send me clear photos of those parts? Thank you. - kahala -
