Hi fellas, I believe it’s an Akron 103, age ? For the knowledgeable ? How can you tell if it’s gasoline or kerosene? It looks all there, no meth cup
Hello Darryl, the links below show relevant information. https://classicpressurelamps.com/threads/akron-diamond-mid-1930s.5138/ Akron Diamond Model 103 Lanterns
Thank you @JEFF JOHNSON for the leads. It is definitely a cool lantern. I have dismantled the lantern to find that the generator is not original but a good alternative. The what looks like a Coleman generator braised onto what may have been the original s bend generator. I assume it works. Does any of you fellas know where I may source a replacement generator? To keep with it’s original look.
@Darryl Durdin Old Coleman Parts has a replacement generator that I've heard works well. The only thing is they do not have the "S" bend in them. Original ones are hard to find. Here's the link. Old Coleman Parts > Akron S Generator - R407
