Here are a couple of photos of my Gloria burning on the mantel.

Sorry for the poor quality photos, I'll try and get some better ones uploaded soon.

I've been lighting it up every night, it's a pleasure to light and look at.

    Cheers.

don't you fear the nice mirror will crack from the heat of the lantern?
would be a pity for such an extraordinary piece.

    Hi guys,
bad news, I was robbed while away by friends leasing my property, they got everything, a lifetime of engineering tools, family heirlooms, everything of any value, including Gloria.
Stolen from Wodonga and potentially sold from a stall at weekend markets by a "man" named Brandon.
Please keep an eye out for her, so I can link him to the theft of my life's work.

When was the theft? When and where were the Gloria’s sold, do you think? Do you have any photos?

I’m happy to check mine against any that might have been stolen from you.

    G'day Tony,

Unfortunately I can't pin down a date on the theft, I've been away for 12 month while they were "looking after" the house. I believe the theft and sale of my possessions started approximately 3 to 6 months ago, stolen from West Wodonga, Victoria, and potentially sold at weekend markets in the North East Victoria region by a guy named Brandon, I know for a fact he stole all the vacuum sealed venison from my deep freezer and sold it for dog food at weekend markets. I'll try and find pictures of tools stolen and maybe create a separate thread if allowed. Have you come across any Gloria's in the last, say, year? I only have the photos I posted here but there are some better ones in another thread.

Yeah me too, I've lost everything, even the sheets off my bed. Absolute scum, and of course the house is a tip and they took all my furniture. Insurance won't cover 1/10th of my loss. Literally have no tools to work.

    @Ned's Head

I haven’t come across that Gloria, and I’ve gone through all your photos here, as well.

What a low b@st@rd that bloke is!

I see no reason why you can’t post a thread on your stolen goods in the Members forum. I’ll get the folk I know that live around that part of Oz to check.

    Cheers

    Tony

These are some of the tools stolen, the mini press with pressure gauge fitted to the bottle jack I made, there isn't another one like it. Maybe someone will recognise it. lamps.jpg IMG_2351.jpg DSC_1953.jpg arc-champ-inverter-welder-1.jpg images.jpeg
