Hi, i lookin for an old thread... I remember seeing a post years ago about someone who adapted a 250cp lantern to a 500cp tank; I think it was made from two Petromax lanterns.
I'd appreciate any help finding this post.

    Cheers from Chile, Southamerica.

I believe that Swiss army Petromaxes and Geniols are 250hk type uppers on the larger 500 hk tank.

Maybe it's that thread you meant?

I did this once again with an 350 HK Alladdin Petromax with a completely rotted Globe cage and missing hood. Unfortunately it turned out that the bottom of the tank has stress cracks... I'll have to dismantle everything again and use tank sealer before I can try to operate it...

Dear friends, I greatly appreciate your responses. I have an idea to repurpose an old 500kW lamp tank and place a 250kW kerosene lamp on top, although I've only seen lamps using gasoline with this configuration.
I haven't started yet, but I imagine it's possible. In any case, I should clarify that I prefer originality in my lamps. I also feel that the curves are accentuated by a small basket over a large fountain, like a sensual woman...
