Greetings Everyone! Just wanted to share some pics of my latest haul, three Tilley's and three stoves (Juwel, Burmos and Monitor). All were offered for sale as a bundle near Stoke On Trent, and were apparently ex Stoke Scouts, saved from scrappage as the Scout Hut was redeveloped! At £30 the lot and a nice Day out to the Peak District, what was I to do? The PL53 is a steel tanker, and has a later control cock installed. There are obviously parts missing from the other two Lamps. There is much cleaning and fettling ahead, but in general, I'm over the moon with my purchase! I welcome and look forward to your comments, recommendations, advice and general taking of the Mickey!
Congratulations, a nice hall. You need to swap the hoods over on the two Guardsman's to make them correct.
