Solex 252 100 cp The frame and the hood are made of iron. The reddish tank ( copper ? ) originally had a very thin silver color . The pump is on the right, and the hood and its closure also differ from th the Solex 252 100 cp shown by @Johan Osinga . I had to solder the Halex coil. This lamp was manufactured in lean times. Unfotunately, I only took a few pictures during the restoration last August.
Thank you for your attention @JEFF JOHNSON ,@ROBBO55 and @Titoo I don't know why the fram and not the the lantern is displays in the gallery. Perhaps @Carlsson can change that ?
Reinhard, the image which will come up as an index picture will always be the one you upload first when making a new topic. The picture of the frame was the one you uploaded first, so therefore it will be the one showing in the Solex directory. It's a lot of manual work to change it, and it's really no big deal which image show up there.
No,that's not how it happened.I posted the picture with the lit lantern first .Then I remembered I also had a photo of the little Solex 252 without a light , and used that one as the first picture. Why the frame is now showing up as the first picture is a mystery to me. I certainly didn't post the picture with the frame as the first picture..
