I am considering using a Caswell sealer kit on an old lantern. Doesn't leak bad but it leaks.. I would like someone who knows to tell me how much of the inners I need to take out. Valve and air tube? Fuel cap? And the one I'm not sure of, the check valve.
    Thanks

If it's a Coleman lantern you could leave the check valve in but after you've turned the fount to ensure an even coating of sealer, be sure to pump some air through to make sure the snorkel is clear. If the check valve sits in the fuel you'll definitely need to remove it. Plug the hole with a twist of kitchen towel to keep the threads clean. Definitely remove the fuel pick-up tube and again, plug the hole to keep the threads clean.
