Hello. A week ago I bought a Hasag Polar No.5 lamp from Croatia. I finally took it all apart and cleaned it. Finally I discovered the beautiful original enamel and paint under the 50-year-old dust. I sealed the pipes and the tank cap, put on the glass from the Petromax 835 and tomorrow will be the first functional test. The only thing the lamp is missing is a pressure gauge, however, another pressure gauge from the 1930s will arrive in the mail tomorrow (see photo). The exact date of manufacture is 03/1930, sold in Zagreb, Croatia by the company Petroplin Zagreb.
Thank you! I see from the advertisement that these lamps were sold as "special fishing lamps". “Special fishing lamps Models 1930. The most perfect brand of today! A unique world product! Each lamp is accompanied by a 15-year warranty! Radišina ul. 9 Phone 66-38 Another 63 different models. Ask for free and postage-paid brochures! Socks (redine) as well as glasses for all other lamps of various brands are always in stock!” Cheers Tony
