    Hi fellas.
I’ve been working on my to do pile, I chose this HSL for the red hood in great condition. I stripped it down cleaned it up to get it going.
It was going great guns until the hood started smoking and caught fire and burnt the paint off. Before I got the lantern the hood must have been painted and cured with ultra high temperature paint.
The paint was no match for the heat generated. IMG_3184.jpeg IMG_3185.jpeg IMG_3186.jpeg IMG_3187.jpeg IMG_3188.jpeg IMG_3190.jpeg

I have not yet found a heat resisting paint which can handle the heat from a pressure lantern.

    Some paint destroying action.
At least the lantern is functional.
