I wonder what is the risk of leaving such a lamp unattended? How likely is it that in case of some mantle or jet problems the fire can reach the fuel tank above? Concerns are certainly justfied when dealing with pressurized lamps that are nearly 100 years old. You just have to do everything right. The leak tests are the most important part.
