Last night, I testen my post-war model 835.As you can see , it differs from the pre-war model in a few of details.None of my other lamps run so consistently for hours on end without requiring any Intervention- it's almost boring Perhaps Mr. @Jörg Wekenmann can provide more specific details regarding the production date and location of this perfect "donut" lamp ?
Would love to find one of these at an affordable price! How have you got it hung? Is that some kind of gantry?
Hi Reinhard, In the postwar records in my archive, Petromax Nos. 835 and 834 appear only in 1957 and 1959. Since Erich Graetz sold his company to SEL (Standard Elektrik Lorenz) in 1961, it’s questionable whether hanging lamps of this type were even still being manufactured in the 1960s. Best regards, Jörg
