I'm chasing down a leak on my Austramax, I'm thinking it's coming from the base of the generator tube (26). There doesn't seem to be any sealing washer there can't see one on the parts diagram (?) Shall I try wrapping Teflon tape around it then assembling it, or any ideas? Cheers. I tried Teflon tape with no luck, I guess I'll try fine grinding paste - it's a compression joint. Would need to disassemble more to anneal it all.
