Yeah, one might be forgiven for supposing the nickname refers to the colour but, in fact, it relates to how well the lantern functions, particularly the Schrader valve. I must have at least half-a-dozen of the bu&&ers around here, but I finally found one that works so I won't be getting any more! It works for now, anyway, and I make sure I don't over-work it in case it takes the huff...
Yeah, read lots about the valve, I have spares. I have about 16 lanterns, all Coleman, 2 are 275's, and run perfect. I want more! haha
