Merry Christmas everyone . Went out this morning and got 5 gallon of kerosene, just in case we get snowed in! More likely to have to dry out water as nothing but rain here . And also a big thankyou to Ross and the Mods for all the effort that it must take to keep these sites going . Steve.

Those are strong winds, but they are not unusual for Shetland. This old rock is often struck by storms which are rated at severe storm force 12, Jeff.
Happy birthday Jeff to start with, I hope you are not too cold and wet up there. 8) Then a merry christmas and a happy new year to all.
Happy Birthday from me too Jeff, just take your cake outside and save your own puff. Merry Christmas to all from a wet and soggy Aberdeenshire.
Merry Christmas and/or Seasonal Greetings everybody! I floodlit the local church again last evening using FL6 floodlight projectors. I didn't have any time to check them over from the Queen's Jubilee in June and only seven of them decided they would co-operate this time. Still made a decent show nonetheless... The amazing thing (for me, anyway) was that I just left them running and went in for the Carol Service. Yowzah! - probably the first time in 50 years I've been to church for a service...
Merry Christmas and a Bright New Year to all from Wellesley, MA USA. Enjoying our first snow, albeit a dusting, but enough for a white Christmas! Dan
