    the nickel was really bad so i removed it and polished the brass.The globe is a replacement by Fred Kuntz. Made the shelf to show it off.

    Very nice restoration. These lanterns work really well. Easy to light and maintain.

    Fred is a real treasure to our hobby. His work is top notch and so reasonably priced. I'm not sure I could buy the material for what he charges for the finished product.

    I like your stand. Is that a drawer in the front?

    Lamps & woodworking, two of my favorite pastimes.

    great work on both, looking forward to getting a quick-lite myself as all seem to say they are a great simple reliable lamp, i love the curve draw, regards Frank :thumbup: :thumbup:

    yes that is a drawer the pull is a ball nut from a 220 that could not be saved.there is a Q007 tip pricker and 2 Q99 generators in there. i wanted to post more pictures but for some reason my edit button is gone. i have not lit it yet holds pressure and can hear it 1360240989-P040213_21_opt.jpg out gas tip. should work fine just dont want to mess up my polish job
