The start of my lamp addiction, sorry my collection


And now look what brass has done to me. i would not mind if it was real gold, just a thought i wonder if the colour gold really has some strange effect on our minds?

You gotta start somewhere. I don't want to worry you but it is an addiction. I can remember very well having 15 lamps and maybe a dozen stoves. 30 years on and the lamps have almost forced me out of the house. ::Neil::

 

Yep, I can vouch for this - many of us can, having made the 'haj' to Mecca!

I've been keeping mine at a level where I can still get about the house without too much bother, but there are lanterns all over the place.

I'm trying to get down to 100 British lamps and lanterns, but it's hard...

 

That reminds me, must do that soon as I've had the kind invite of Neil
