Sparepart identification

    Hello - I just got myself another lamp :D/ , a fine Petromax 826E in working condition, though it will never be an exhibition lamp. With the lamp came som spareparts, needles, jets, mantles and a nice spiritcan, and a part I simply can´t identify, I am not sure if its for a pressurelamp at all. Can anyone identify the spiritcan and the mysterious part. It says 0,7 m on the part, and the spiritcan messures aprx. 100mm in hight and 40 mm in diameter.

    I think it's the tip of a mechanical pencil for 0.7 mm leads.
    The bent part attached to it is possibly the pencils pocket clip, even if it looks a bit shorter than normal (and of course in the wrong place).

    It's a gizmo used by draughtsmen. I remember using one on my technical drawing course in the 70's. The 'clip' part fits into a holder and an ink cartridge goes into the housing. The idea is to keep the pen perpendicular to the surface. Mostly used with lettering stencils.

    Modern ones have an adjustable joint:
