update to dent repair

    Tilley and Vapalux vice clamp jig.
    which enables repairs to be carried out with freedom of hands. Also made a couple of levering

    Interesting Jig, are you using stir welding to attach the pulling stems?, never seen that done.

    Like I said when I started this hobby' I was followed by my work ](*,) as I am a panel beater by trade, and trained by the masters of years gone by 'and so have they. :cry: and the saying is of the old school ways is if its damaged fix it not throw it away . And now I'm fixing brass tanks with dinks''''' and dents '''great,' which brings me here . I'm making tools to help my abilities they too will be shown when I bring my ideas out of my head very very soon watch this space. At moment I made a lamp tank vice braice and levering tools and in photo I'm using a rothermberg jet spot welder which when done right WORKS'. Stay tuned thanks Simon.

    Yes thanks kenny '
    will do.
    as I see now that tanks now need our attention too ' so I will try to make out of hand methods, as its something all should try with as little knowleage we will be happy with our trying and experimenting with good results in fetling lamps and its so good to bring out the good crafts again before the flame dies out :thumbup:
