Kero stains

Hi all, does anybody on here know how to clean kero stains off the paintwork on a fount, without doing too much damage? Cheers!

 

drying kero. or gas leaves a varnish. Easily desolved by a rag dipped in gas or kero.. Don't soak, just rub.
