That sounds like an excellent idea. So you'll be attending will you? What day will you be arriving and are you camping? I'm looking to get there on the Tuesday this year and making a good holiday of it. With plenty of lamps, stoves, food and booze. It'll be good to meet you and put another face to the name.
Yes we hope to be there, I plan to bring a telescope or two as well... Only the smaller ones I'm afraid; if I'm bringing some lamps too there won't be much room in the car. We plan to arrive some time, not too late, on the Friday and yes we'll be camping...
Your one bottle of JD won't go very far Matt especially with me helping you out Very nice cakes indeed
Excellent, we can do some star gazing. Don't worry about that Ray, I got 1 and a bit bottles of JD, a part bottle of bourbon some schnapps and what ever else I feel like bringing.
She is a pure cakeartist Gneiss. If you add a S after MUM, then it is a common expression in danish for delicious (yummie) Next step for her must be a pressurelamp design. Claus C
Ah, you've been beaten to it - a few years back someone's wife (Doron?) made a Tilley or Bialaddin/Vapalux cake. There's a thread about it somewhere on CCS...
You are all making me wish I could come back to Newark to meet the chaps who weren't there in 2010. Talk of all these cakes is pulling me strongly, I am no baker myself but boy! can I put a cake or two away.
You get there Jean! I will bring the cake and the Sloe Gin You will have to make breakfast though and I do really like a good Scottish black pudding. Steve.
Mmmmm... We have some sloe gin that has been maturing, assuming it does, for the last eighteen months. I'd forgotten all about it until now
I just would like to add that the subject you wrote is unfair: perhaps you should write "My wife is an artist"...
My wife has just made an Easter selection... I fear she may be slacking a bit on the pressure lamp cakes...
Gosh, these look good enough to eat - no, in fact they look too good to eat. Is Mrs Gneiss practicing for Newark?
