This AGM 3016 showed up on my desk at work one day after a co-worked heard I collected these things. It was a bit dusty, but had never been lit. All it needed was a bit of polish. In hind sight I probably should have left it a virgin, but lighting anxiety got the better of me. It currently has no stress cracks, so either I'm lucky or have not used it enough. It is a good performer when lit.

I chose the date based on a prior post by Neil. The lamp is complete with an original (I assume) Ready Lite globe with a McKee Glasbake badge.

I've read the other posts on the site which explain the alphabet soup of name and ownership changes of the AGM company, 27244[/ATTACH]

Lovely lamp. The hood, curvy globe, the hanginghandle and the shiny fount. Nice

Iit's a beauty. Care for that globe. It's hard to find.
The nickel on these is thin, so protect it.

Really bonnie, is your AGM 3016, the dimensions look to be near enough the same as the JC Higgins. The height of the tank is spot on but the genny and airflow are out, some. The first two on your provided Link, show two lanterns with very similar aesthetic proportions, but for their founts appearing another inch or so, taller/higher. Fine looking lanterns, might have to survey the horizons with the mind to sequestering one (hopefully with the perfect jaw dropping vent).
I'm starting to feel a bit guilty I left the first Higgs's tank, as was, (may return, though)?
    Cheers, Jon.
