I went to the Tavascan sky resort at the Pyrenees Mountains last weekend (April, 5,6 and 7)

We built an igloo on Saturday.

We made three ice "windows". In fact, we left some water outdoors, filled a tin, on Friday evening. It became a thick ice glass on Saturday early morning

I stood a tilley lamp inside and two Petromax lamps outside. The major of the refuge turned off the safety lights in the night.

Looks even colder (just slightly) than N.E. Scotland on those dates!
