Hi - today i bought a Primus 1020 at a market, it is not in the best condition and I bought it for spareparts only. When I came home, I just had to see if it could run, and after removeing a lot of dirt, spiderswebs etc, and replacing a gasket in the fuelcap, it runs nicely On the underside of the fueltank it says AL10, I know that AL is 1947, but what does 10 mean Regards Niels Chr.
There have been long discussions about these numbers and the bottom line is that we don't know. There is a hand written note that exists that refers to this number as a work number. That could mean the tool, worker, or something completely different. Unless something new turns up I'm not sure we will ever know. In a way I think it's nice to have something that is a mystery.
I agree. It's sort of nice that we actually don't know everything. And this particular number gives a topic to talk about now and then when someone who hasn't been around CPL or CCS for too long bring it up. We do know that it's not a number for the month, and hardly for a week either. A work station for later quality check is the most probable.
