Recently found this at a garage sale.
Has anyone seen as many and as severe a case of stress cracks, owner said it would polish up and work with a little work.
I bought it for parts and to prevent an amateur injuring them selves. I have not seen a cracked Kayen till now.

Hi Graham and gratz  I dont have any Kayens yet - rare lamp in Danmark.
To me it is a weird place for cracks to show, I would "like" to see them in areas where the metal have been worked on much more [-o<

Hi Graham, I have seen a Bialaddin 300X with worse cracks than that :!: Sometimes it just happens that the post-working annealing did not happen  , so all the stresses come out later  . Best regards - Steve.

It has so many cracks in it that it could well pass for a jigsaw puzzle... ;)

Its, such a good deed you did by buying that lamp as you
looked ahead and diverted the use of a simple mind ' who may
not have had any idea of they would have brought .
