Colin. Gloria 90 is right. However it is certainly not a gravity lamp. These were supplied either as a Hollow wire lamp like yours or with a tank to make them a self contained light. There is no doubt that is a pressure burner with a supplementary generator heater and should deliver around 500 cp. ::Neil::

Well 2 Years on and finally decided to restore this one.

The only thing I had to go on was what was left and Neil's 1922 American Gloria Catalougue. Nothing appears in the Australian Catalogue.

    Neil's Catalogue.

    .... and the finished Version.

The Vent is not quite the same but the best replica I could find.

Hello Colin, it's fine to see it restored!

Do you have a tank for it? Jeff.

    Hi Jeff,

No Tank, it is Hollow Wire.

Pleased with the way it came up.

Hello Colin, what I should have asked, is do you have a hollow wire tank which you can test the lamp with? Jeff.

    Hi Jeff,

Let's just call it a language misinterpretation.

I have 5 HW Tanks but you have to put too much in them to be operational,. I did fabricate a CQ Coleman for the purpose of testing but used it on another project.

    That's the long answer.

    The short one ..... No.

    Regards

    Colin

Hello Colin, perhaps a spare Tilley tank could be rigged to serve the purpose? Jeff.
