This lamp has a special place in my hart as it is the first one I owned. Or more correct, my father owned and that I later inherited from him. (The first that I bought myself was a more common one, a 1020) Back to the 1022, I have had it for a long time and maybe it needs some cleaning. A few years ago I was lucky to find the #1693 wall bracket. Just a few days ago I bought a 1024 with the rare grooved globe #6234 and I descided that this was the ultimate combination. One of my favorites. The place where it is hanging is not the best for taking photos, hope you have lenience with that. Bo
A beautiful lamp, but pay attention that it doesn't get up in the air when lit as it reminds me at a hot-air balloon...
Bo, Nice combination. I love those extras that are "simple" and well designed. Is the lamp "locked" in the wall bracket ?
Yes, the plate it is standing on looks very much like one for the harp hangers and there is a locking screw that secure the lamp. The same like the one that holds the globe. You can see it at image #3 down to the left. Bo
Beautyfull lamp. It would look stunning in hall of any swedish manor with that wallhangerdevice. Love the shade a lot too. Claus C
That's really a smashing lamp, Bosse, and the bracket is perfect for it! I've never seen the larger version of these ribbed globes in the flesh. Only the smaller ones. It's surely a rare beast, so congratulations. But shouldn't you keep your father's lamp as original as it could be, even if it had the simpler plain globe (which I personally find more aesthetic)? It would be really nice if you also posted that 1024 with this original globe! The 1024 is an extremely nice lamp, even if I find the 994 much more proportionate.
