    Hello All,
I grew up with Coleman and never had a European pressure lantern before. Yesterday I saw this Optimus 1200 in an antique shop and was impressed by the quality. Got it for $19, brought it home and with a few minutes of tinkering it fired right up. It's love at first sight. It does need some parts, though, and I don't have enough posts behind me to upload to the trading post section. I need a globe, a needle, a bail, and one bail nut. Can you regulars point me to someone who might have any of these parts, especially the bail and bail nut?
    Thanks

    Welcome Hatrabbit,

You can get a glass for it from here (same type as Optimus 200) but it will work out rather expensive with shipping to the USA.

If I remember right Petromax 250 parts will fit these. They might not be exactly right but if you try Britelyt for P'Max 250 bits I reckon you will be able to fettle this without too much expense. ::Neil::

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm glad the mechanical parts are available new... for the bail and nut I'll probably wait around and see if an old one shows up on here or on ebay.
