    Cool, the engine started first time but it took a couple of attempts for the geezer in the flat cap to get his pipe fired up!! :lol: :D/

    At the other end of the scale, I got room for this:

    Had it lurking in the shed for decades. A little JAP side valve single driving a dynamo. No compression so it might have no piston!! ATCO petrol tank which may have come off a lawnmower. Looks like someone has made a battery charger from the set-up.

    I can see the fascination of stationary engines apart from the size of some - no road tax, no licence, generally just fun to fettle and get running.
