Surprising to still find NOS (New Old Stock) appliances in some of the old hardware stores. This January 1973 Coleman Canada Model No. 4D iron had been sitting on a storage room shelf for 40 years. Box had been opened but the contents are complete including instructions, warranty card, tools, metal stand and fuel bottle.
Unbelievable! What a great iron! Is there a card included that you can send to Coleman for registering their product just in case you need free service during the warranty period? Their response surely would be fun!
No warranty registration required Steve, evidently this product Inspection Slip sufficed if sent in with the defective appliance.
I guess we will never find out if it works as intended, it would be a shame to light it in this gorgeous, perfect and prestine mint condition! So Coleman can stay calm
