I was at Ardingly Antiques Fair on Wednesday and picked up some goodies:

    Left to tight:

Bialladin 300X for £5.00. Top cap has holes. This lamp will be stripped for spares. Glass to replace a cracked glass, spindle knob to replace a missing knob, tank to replace a Bialaddin Bowlfire tank that has a stress crack, remainder into the spares box.

Chrome Bialladin 300X for £6.00. Not got a chrome 300X and this one is in very good condition especially the hood, just needs a good clean and fettle.

Tilley AL-21 Floodlight (version 4) for £30.00. My first floodlight so I'm looking forward to fettling and learning about this one. A little surface rust but sound, complete and pumps up well.

    Primus 107 stove for £10.00

So altogether a good morning   .

    Regards,
    Terry

Gave the chrome 300x a good clean and fettle. All the seals and pump leather were good. Just copper grease on all the threads and a new mantle. Fired up fine and ran for 2 hours with just an occasional pump  :

The chrome looks to be in great condition...

I really like the chrome versions but we are a bit divided on that in our house, my wife thinks they look "cold" and much prefers a brass finish.
