Yes David, they're called Brosteward Haits & Sankers; made in, I think; Brussels, but unfortunately the Co. went bust, back in the early seventies due to Union embargo's in the Netherlands, story told; from the reference library; Snortstein Eastern Quarter.z Gunnel Stocks, how the barge boat vessels were holed, in one long concertina succession' 23 in total, the story goes.
Spikes and Sledge Hammers, were the order of the day, back then; but least to say, BTW's (Bhs) really; you might have those abbreviation initials a little misaligned (and no; it isn't British Home Stores, they were originally labelled and sold as; Bold House Shiners, quite a statement, don't you think ? BTW; can no longer be acquired in this country, nor in Belgium. I think the baskets of mantles, rotting in the barge's hulls would have long since past their sell by date, but if you felt the need you could always head over, Passporte, flippers, snorkel and breath tube to hand, and check out the temperature ? It's only Autumn, you may be in luck. Good posts, yours are, thanks alot, and Cheers for now, Jon. (oooOOOhhps, darn it Jim, the flange has had it, and she could take no more, we'll have to get a lift)!!
