Hi all. This is my AGM P66 table lamp. i have to repair some parts . Finally, i can see good working lamp light now. thanks Gunsoo
You have a nice lamp there Gunsoo, great work for getting it running. I have a similar Standard-Gillett Light Co.296 lamp with the same burner head. Grand lamps with a great light output! /Conny
Hi Conny. yes i did saw your similiar table lamp. very look like this lamp with it. thank your kind reply. Gunsoo
A splendid restoration, Gunsoo. It is a very nice old AGM. There are so many interesting things about this lamp; the burner, the extra shut off valve (why is it there?), and the original pump valve, from what I understand, used a pump with a flexible hose at the end with a threaded fitting for the lamp valve. How do you pre-heat your lamp; via the one large hole in the burner cover side or through the bottom of the shade? How much time do you pre-heat for lighting this lamp? What size and make mantle do you use? It really seems bright! You inspire me to get off my duff and finish mine. Dan
Hi Dan. i did use 150cp mantle . and ithink you guess right . small asbestos stick use in large hole . but i did use gas light at mantle . then more an more bright after fire flame 10 second . i have not original pump kit . so i did brought portable bycle pumping kit . thank you kind reply . Gunsoo
