I used Babelfish until it's demise without problem. Now Google Translate doesn't seem to work for me - it isn't interested in any languages other than English, French and Spanish and doesn't even translate those. ](*,)

    Is it me? (again!)

Well it is offered by a UK seller. So the english original title would be better.

www.google.com/translate shows 77 possible languages to translate into and from.
    Must be you David.

    Your text:

    UK > afrikaans:
Ek gebruik Babelfish totdat dit is ondergang sonder probleem.

Well, I used Google translate and chose "detect language". Pasted in the item description and it said 'German', and translated thus:

'Tilley Versatile sodium vapor lamp book Jim Dick Tilley lamps story'

A book? By Jim Dick? Sodium vapour??

    Still none the wiser.

    Ah wait! Here we are:

Tilley vapour lamp history by Jim Dick.

I see you have a copy David!!

But the real question is: What's an 'auw auw'?

You are limited by the amount of text you can put in with Babelfish, that's one reason I went with Google translate.
