This very tall and stylish table lamp is based on Volcan-Radiosol model 850 500 cp kerosene lantern. The base has an annular steel ring inserted to lower the center of gravity.

Ain't they something? There are a few of them with collectors. Not exactly common but I guess there are perhaps half a dozen in Europe now. ::Neil::

Nice looking lamp. They seem to show up on Mercadolibre Argentina often enough but I don't fancy paying the shipping.

Difficult to get the original reflector, like this one. I had to buy a scraped one to have it.

On the base ring the holes shall be fitted with rubber feets. I just see a couple of them, rotten, in one lamp. I guess they could be replaced easily with any comercial rubber top.

I have three of these lamps but I wont offer to trade them until I can understand customs rules here: after being trading and buying for some years, now there is a Tilley KL 80 waiting for me in Buenos Aires, 1.100 km ahead from my home... When it became easy again I'll be glad on trade lamps and lanterns again.
