Q99 tube nut thread.

    Hi, I'm trying to work out what thread the male tube nut is on a Q99 generator. I make it to be 28 tpi and 0.308" diameter which is a little small for 5/16 (0.3125), or is that within tolerance for a 5/16 x 28tpi thread?
    Does anyone know please ?

    I'd say that's within tolerance for a 5/16" IMHO :thumbup:

    Taps and dies are available from Tracy tools in that thread form
