Tilley OL51 Flue details.

I have had a request from a fellow CPL member to see if I can get a reproduction OL51 Flue made. The Part Number in the 1955 Tilley catalogue is 220. If anyone has one I would be grateful if they could send me detailed measurements, description of rim finishes etc and perhaps a couple of pictures. I believe that they were made from steel. Were they enamelled? With enough information, I think that my old friend "the Spinner" may be up for making a few.

as you know I have an OL-51 and it has the original enamelled steel flue, but I do have to dismantle it to give you the dimensions, I think I'll find the time to do so and to take a photo over the weekend.

 

Thanks Stephan, that will be very useful information. I did not know if they were enamelled or not, but now do, thanks. Do you think that the flue would work ok made in brass? Cheers mate - Steve.
