Hi All Last week the power went off as a local electric sub station decided to bite the dust just after dinner & was off for several hours Just by chance i did have a spare lamp or two in the workshop for such an emergency & i duly bought a few in to make life a little easier My Wife was glad of the light from an Evening Star table lamp to see by as she has just got back into doing some knitting on these long wintery evenings With the flash The lamp was so bright the camera dimmed the image right down 8) I needed to see what i was doing in the kitchen to get my packup ready for the next day so my AGM desk lamp was put to good use there while a little Coleman 201 was used to light my path when checking on my elderly neighbours to make sure they were ok In the kitchen The AGM making life much easier in the sandwich making department 8) I know any excuse to get a lamp lit Stu
Stu, you have a very impressive Notebook defeating gravity sitting at the corner of the sideboard P.S. The lamps are impressive as well
Hi Stephan It's all done with smoke , Mirrors & panel wipe can you see the elephant in the corner & Dave i did offer lamps to friends in the village but they were all too scared of what to do with one ,ordinary folks these days are a bit wet when it comes to old tech Stu .
One presumes, then, that Mrs. Loco7lamp doesn't read CPL, otherwise you've had it for Christmas, mate...
