Merry Christmas to all CPL members, hope you find something tasty in your Chrisdstmas stocking. Commisserations to anyone caught up in this foul weather and unable to enjoy Christmas. Blowy here in NE Scotland but once again, it seems, we have been let off lightly.
Merry Christmas one and all. Off to our daughters for lunch as we've only just got power back. Her and her family were going to her in-laws for lunch but they have no power, so after a quick re-plan it's everyone round to them. Got power back for while last night but then lots of sparks, bangs and flames from a box half way up a pole in the field across the road. Fire engine arrived, shone torches on the box, went away again. This morning lots of power vans and men with a cherry picker. So we've now got power but not sure if we trust it to cook Christmas lunch. Got the chance to use 4 lamps and 2 Bowlfire heaters though! . Regards, Terry
